My wife and I had  adjoining units with my daughter and her family on the ninth floor of the Hawaiian Princess in Makaha.  Daughter and family stayed one week, we stayed two.  We all felt that Hawaiian Princess has got to be be Oahu's best kept secret.  The beach is ideal, never crowded, and the surf and ocean swimming were safe for little kids (and big ones).  Ocean water temperatures in July were warm and very pleasant.  The swimming pool was also excellent and never crowded. Security and privacy for the building and parking areas were tops.   I think the weather in Makaha is better than in Waikiki--I tracked both places a few times and Makaha was always not quite as hot and humid.  The weather in Makaha was ideal--plenty warm and great for sun tans.  In the two weeks we were there it probably rained for ten minutes.  The units themselves were more than we expected--everything we could need was provided.  Never needed the A/C as the breezes were perfect.  We could always hear the surf crashing on the beach--something I loved.  The lanai was our favorite "room" with nice breezes and great views.  The local Hawaiians were all friendly.  We saw turtles swimming by a few times, sail boats and some spectacular sunsets.  The grocery shopping at nearby Tamura's and Sack and Save will provide everything you need.   Kathy handled all the rental business/arrangements on a very professional level.  Everything was perfect.  We hope to go back again next year.  !

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know about the fantastic time we had while staying at your condo in punaluu!! Ph5 The condo was gorgeous, clean, and the location was perfect. This condo is situated in such a perfect area. It was quiet and so relaxing. Kathe with an e was so accommodating. We had people come to meet us on our last day there. They didn’t get there until an hour after we should have checked out. We called her and asked if it was ok to stay for another hour. She said sure and when she arrived and saw how clean we had left the condo she said I will start upstairs and you all visit for another hour if needed. Fabulous, we said. There is so much more I could tell you about our vacation but I won’t bore you with all the details!!! So…… we are now planning our next trip there.

My wife and i spent a week in unit 103 in february of 2011. When we initially booked out in Makaha we had many people raise questions to us about the area and it being out of the way etc. This caused us to be a little concerned but after being there, it was so beautiful and peaceful that we’ve already booked our next trip for next January. The Hawaiian people were great and the area was a perfect distance away from the hustle bustle of Honolulu and the beach might’ve been the nicest beach on the entire island.

The condo was absolutely wonderful!  I was a bit nervous booking in an unknown facility, going strictly off information found online, but it exceeded every expectation.  I'm very glad we decided to stay out in Makaha rather than in Waikiki, with all the noise, traffic, and crowds. Each time we went into the city we wondered aloud why people would want to spend all of their precious vacation time there.  The Waianae coast provided an experience reminiscent of Maui, but at lower prices.
